In the third quarter of 2025, several virtual pet applications demonstrated varied performance on the iOS platform in Nigeria. Here, we delve into the trends for the top five apps, based on data from Sensor Tower.

My Talking Angela from Outfit7 Limited saw a gradual increase in weekly downloads, peaking at around 2.5K in mid-August. The weekly revenue reached its highest at $8 in late September, while active users experienced a decline from approximately 13K to 11.7K over the quarter.

My Talking Angela 2 also from Outfit7 Limited, noted an uptick in weekly downloads, hitting 1.7K in early September. Revenue peaked at $32 at the end of September, with active users increasing from 8.5K to 10.6K during the same period.

My Talking Tom Friends experienced a moderate rise in downloads, reaching 1.1K in mid-August. Revenue remained modest, peaking at $5 in late September. Active users saw a slight increase, ending the quarter at around 4.7K.

My Talking Tom Friends 2, newly released in July, initially saw downloads as high as 2.3K but experienced a decline to around 210 by the end of the quarter. Active users followed a similar trend, decreasing from 2.3K to 1K.

Finally, My Talking Tom 2 maintained a steady download rate, peaking at 691 in early September. Revenue saw a slight increase to $5 in early August, while active users remained relatively stable, closing the quarter at approximately 7.7K.
